Find your way around foreign cities with MetrO

A couple of years ago we stopped in Tokyo for a few days on the way back from Bangkok. Knowing that Tokyo’s subway system is probably the largest in the world I figured I could do with some help. I found and loaded an application called MetrO along with maps of Bangkok and Tokyo. With MetrO and my Treo it was easy to find our way around Tokyo’s labyrinth of a subway system. We felt confident traveling from area to area. So, if you are planing a trip to a foreign city and you want interactive subway maps with you, then you are in the right place.
You can download MetrO here: Download MetrO. Or visit the site and browse around: MetrO home page.
Follow the directions to download and install software here: Download and Install software.
Once you have MetrO installed using it is simple. The following example shows MetrO routing a trip from New York City’s Grand Central Station to the Bronx Zoo.
1. If you are not already on the Palm Desktop press the Home Key and locate the MetrO icon. Launch the application.

Enjoy,
